So-Cal based UNDFTD Adidas Smith teams up with adidas Originals on an appropriate new silhouette from the Three Stripes, the Los Angeles . The re-imagined and retooled take on the classic L.A. Trainer was given to the premier sneaker retailer from the city it shares its name with for this stylish edition, featuring UNDFTD's often-used militaristic aesthetic. This is achieved with the use of camo for the Los Angeles' all-mesh upper in a sleek black and grey color palette. Special details include dual branding on the tongue and the lateral Three Stripes in black with the medial stripes in a golden buff tone matching the tongue label.

adidas Skateboarding is teaming up with French skate brand Helas to create an unconventional sneaker collaboration centered around Three Stripe's pro rider Lucas Puig. Drawing inspiration from 90s anime, this collection perfectly encapsulates Helas' nonchalant aesthetic  utilizing simplistic constructions and pastel-hued colorways. Both entities put a playful spin on the Lucas Premiere sneaker by combining the court heritage of the silhouette with subtle nods to the anime universe. Adorned in premium leather, it sports an eggshell upper with a breathable textile lining.

The limited edition adidas Skateboarding x Helas Lucas sneaker will arrive at Trefoil Brand skate retailers starting February 10th alongside an entire collection of pastel-colored apparel.The Cliché Skateboards ?team is Adidas Stan Smith Blue full of riders with sneaker sponsorships, but only one of them has his own signature model. ? Lucas Puig is one of a fab five of Frenchmen on the Cliché roster, and even Nike SB's Jeremie Daclin is sure to be jealous that their shared sponsor just authored a collaboration on Lucas' adi-sigs. ?The Cliché x adidas Lucas celebrates fifteen years of the former with the brand's trademark Pittsburgh-ish colorway featuring a monochromatic upper with yellow emanating from the sockliner.

Kris Aman, GM of adidas Global Basketball: That's one of the most exciting things about what adidas as a whole and what adidas basketball is doing  when you have a brand that's wired around creativity and focusing on creators. That creates amazing opportunities. I think what you're seeing with the athletes is that they are grabbing that with both hands and wanting to partner not only with us, but one of the philosophies that we believe in pretty strongly around here is this idea of open-source partnerships. So what ends up happening is you have a brand that's wired around creators and creativity, athletes that are wired around how they create, and that's kind of cool because it's not just in their game, right? As far as where I think creativity comes from in general, I think everybody has it.
