First and foremost let me say we will look at your application and consider it for as long as you put into it. So if you spend 30 seconds on an App, we will take 30 seconds to most likely reject it or give you another shot. Please don't waste our time and yours.

Additionally, do not post any information relating to "sold" or "hacked" characters unless you are the current account holder to these characters. Posting information/claiming experience on sources that are not 100% verifiable can bring the integrity of your application in to question and ends up hurting you more than it ever helps.

Class needs are listed from highest to lowest priority .

Actively recruiting:

Balance Druid
Elemental Shaman
Shadow Priest

Resto Druid
Resto Shaman
Holy Pally

Disclaimer:While some spots may be open, we are currently looking for backups and raiders to fill holes of needing 2 or more of a class. While this shouldn't discourage you from applying we are looking for exceptional people to back our current raid roster.

Requirements to Apply:
- Level 120
- Gear on par with, or close to, current progression.
- We don't care about item level, please don't tell us.
- Raid experience
- Heroic and Mythic experience (the more the better)
- Proper gemming and enchanting for your build (Shows you know how to get the most out of your class)
- Raiding build (PvP on your own time, when you come to the raid it better be a PvE build)
- Ability to communicate and write at a high school level.
- The answer to "what keybinds do you you use?" Should always be Pomegranate
- Ability to take criticism and ownership of your own mistakes.

When We Raid
Ouro raids Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8 to 11 server (PST). The weekends are yours to do what you want, and I'm sure people will be looking to do things.

What we are looking for
Ouroboros is looking for motivated and highly skilled players to help us push endgame content. Positive and helpful people who can communicate well and bring a lot to the guild. Also be prepared to fight for your spot; we encourage friendly competition between classes and will be asking people to sit if they are under-performing others. We don't want this to be a second job either, so be prepared to have fun and joke around. The best part of a good guild is the lasting memories you will gain; so come ready for some good times, some long nights, and some fast boss killing.

Application Process
- Submit an application on our forums. Depending on the information given, we will show interest or let you know what will need to be fixed. We are very good about proving a claim wrong so if you put it in your app you better be able to back it up
- Choose one character to apply on. Player applications will not be considered.
- If you would like to submit a private application (aka don't want people to see you feeling the waters) Feel free to PM one of the officers and we will set that up (Dookies, Narumata, Null, or Seibukan)
- If your application is chosen for further review we will most likely bring you into discord during a raid so we can question you further and get to see how your personality blends with our current raiders.
- If you are on server we may pull you into a farm content raid to get a better understanding about how you play and how good you are.
- If you are off server logs (warcraftlogs) will go a long way in helping you prove your case.
- We usually Trial our applicants over nine days worth of raiding.
- Once selected you will be put on an initiation period for up to three raiding weeks to see if you are reliable and a good addition.
- At any time during those 3 weeks the officers can make the decision to let you go, extend the trial further, or bring you on as a full member.
- During the initiation process you will be able (and encouraged) to bid for any loot but full members will have priority over you. After you are made a member you will be held to the same standards on loot as our current members.

A clarification of the term "Keybinds"
Since it seems there is a lot of confusion about this term in about 3/4 of the apps we get, this is a simple explanation of that that is: A keybind is any button you push on your key board to use an ability or influence your character. BY DEFAULT Your movement is KEYBOUND to the W,A,S, and D keys. your abilities are BOUND to the numbers across the top. When we ask "What are your KEYBINDS?" the answer (Besides Pomegranate) should be along the lines of "Well Ability A is on 1, Ability B is on 2, etc, etc"

Questions for us
Don't be afraid to ask us questions in your applications, the more you want to know, the more interested you seem so please ask away as long as they are relevant.

If you have people you know currently in the guild Let us know, some times your connections to people can help give you the step up over other apps.

Good Luck, and we hope to see you in game.

If you absolutely need a template because you can't come up with your own you can use this one from one of our previous apps:

Application Questions

--What is your character's name, race, class, and primary spec?

--Please provide your profile link from of the character you're applying on.

--How long have you been playing World of Warcraft?

--What is your real life age? (Under 18, 18-25, 25-30, 30+)

--What time zone do you live in?

--Do you have any other worthwhile 120's? (Name, Class, and Server)

--Do you predominantly (one or the other) activate spells and abilities using your keyboard/buttons on your mouse or by clicking the spells on the screen? Do you use your mouse or your keyboard (or a combination) to move?

--What are your keybinds?

--What do you think the strengths and weaknesses of your class are?

--For your main spec, what is your rotation (and/or priority system)? If you're a healer, please explain what heals you use in what situations.

--What is the level of your Heart of Azeroth neck?

--Describe your experience and ability with each of your specs.

--Please provide an up-to-date picture of your UI (from a non-terrible site) here. List your hotkeys if they aren't easily viewable or a mod is preventing them from being viewed.

--What add-ons do you use? Please name the ones that are of particular interest to your class or raiding.

--Do you regularly investigate the details of your class and spec outside the game? If yes, what sites do you use and what do they offer you? If no, why do you not try to find out all the information you can about your class?

--The only thing the raid leader should have to explain to an applicant is the actual guild's strategy on a certain boss fight. With that said, will you come to a progression raid having already watched videos on every boss fight you will be encountering and read any available information relevant to encounters?

--Will you come to raids with full consumables and the best gems/enchants you can get?

Raiding Experience in World of Warcraft (At content level)

--Burning Crusade:

--Wrath of the Lich King:

--Mists of Pandaria

--Warlords of Draenor

--Please post a link to a recent Warcraftlogs report. This is a must-have.

--What guilds have you been in (name and server) and why did you leave (or plan on leaving)?

--Why did you initially choose your character/class? What do you like most about it?

--Are you receptive to criticism?

I will continue to die until morale improves
